The Connect Process is an interactive, prayer-based process through which people encounter God’s presence and receive personal revelation that brings about transformation. It is led by two team members who spend time listening to both the person and Holy Spirit; asking exploratory and engaging questions, and praying with the person. Although the team members are well able to release prophetic and other spiritual gifts, the aim is not to hear God for the client, but to help them to hear or experience God for themselves.
People may seek prayer ministry because of a problematic emotion (depression, anger, anxiety), behavior (addiction) or physical ailment (chronic pain) – or simply because they feel “stuck’ in their relationship with God and want to grow and experience more. The experience of God’s loving presence and his personal revelation breaks lies and mindsets that limit the individual’s perception of God, themselves and others and creates an opportunity for lasting change and wholeness.
Ministry is available by appointment on a contractual basis, and may be structured as 3-4 weekly sessions of one hour each or as an extended “once-off” session.
Please note that we do not offer emergency or trauma counselling. Our prayer teams are well-trained and experienced, but they are not professional therapists and if you feel you have an issue that needs immediate or long-term attention, please contact your GP/pastor or seek admission at an emergency clinic or hospital casualty department.
The Connect Process is a service provided by our facilitators for free, but we do ask for a donation of R200 towards the administrative cost of making this ministry available. Please pay cash payments to our Office Administrator at the Church office; or via EFT to:
